Dr. Diana Heineken grew up in Redlands, CA to a family of dental professionals, where she watched her parents build their practices with genuine care for their patients and community. She immersed herself into dentistry in college where she worked part-time as a dental assistant. Both the technical and interpersonal skills in the dental office came easily to her. Moreover, after working for a pediatric dentist, and then helping her mom run her practice, Dr. Heineken really fell in love with the profession.
After earning her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California Irvine, she headed to Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, where she received her master's degree, as well as her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry. She has since brought her dental expertise to beautiful San Diego, where she provides quality care and strives to educate her patients on the connection between oral and systemic health. She has been a member of the San Diego County Dental Society, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the dental society as well as being a CDA Delegate for the State Dental Society. She also provides free dental care as part of her volunteer work with Veterans Village and other charitable organizations.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Heineken loves spending time with her family, including her husband, their young son, and their 2 dogs. A fitness fanatic, she has ran 15 half-marathons, 1 full marathon, and a Spartan Beast race, all within the last 8 years. Chances are, if she’s not working, she’s working out on her Peloton, or going out for hikes with the family.

Breakthroughs in dental imaging, like our iTero intraoral scanner and digital x-rays, allow us to create crystal-clear representations of your teeth, gums, and underlying structures for better treatment planning and more accurate diagnoses. We can even show you what your completed smile will look like after Invisalign treatment, before you even begin!
We also proudly offer PrimeScan CEREC technology, which allows us to craft and fit high-quality crowns in just one visit. This cutting-edge method ensures a quick, precise, and comfortable experience for all our patients.
Dr. Heineken is dedicated to making a positive impact on her community, and often spends her free time volunteering with various organizations. She has donated her time and expertise to Veteran's Village, Give Kids a Smile, and CDA Cares to provide quality free dental care to veterans, underprivileged children, and everyone in between.
